Alice In Wonderland Auditions on Zoom by Appointment June 21-22

 Tulsa Children's Summer Theatre will present Alice in Wonderland this summer on Zoom as TCC continues to keep patrons and young actors safe during the Pandemic even as it's winding down. Auditions will be by appointment June 21-22. The performances on Zoom will be July 29-30-31st at 7pm. Email mark.frank@tulsacc.edu for more information!

GREAT SHOW!! This was the best one yet! 😊

BBBW:
Imanol/Brailyn - good job!! Imanol - good harmony!

Arianna/Ally/Mallory - great energy - keep it up!

SOML:
Avery - be careful with your voice -using a character voice can be tricky. Come see me for tips for vocal care.

Cast - harmony was AWESOME!

Cast - perfect cut off on the last note!

Duloc 1:
Good smiles!!

Duloc 2:
"Take a look" entrance late

"Fashions never clashing" harmony - good job group 1!

Good job - let's keep running this pre-show as warm-up for the Fionas

Trace/Parker - good job! Please run this to warm up pre-show

Brailyn - your bit is funny!! Keep it up!

Cast - good ensemble action/reaction in this number- super fun to watch!

Forever:
Knights - "Ooh - ahh" chords need review

Better energy - good!

Makayla- great job with "Love" note the end - remember to end the word with an "ah"

Morning Person:
Lila - LOL at turning the wrong way in the formation at the end - good job!

Got You Beat:
Autumn/Parker - work on burp/fart timing and preparation for those moments

Make a Move:
Katelyn - late entrance

Mice - keep building attitude!

Freak Flag:
Hannah - take care of your voice

Cast - great entrance on "Let your... freak flag wave!"

Group 2 - needs to be louder

Atlantis- yay! Good job on solo and not focusing so much on Baby Bear!

BBBW Reprise - review before the show with me

Bodhi- AMAZING entrance! LOL!

Believer:
Some of you are getting carried away and singing much too loudly. Blend with the singers around you and take care of your voices - we have 2 shows a day Sat and Sun, so you need to save your voices!

Keep improving! You are ALL awesome!!

-Cast-Try to keep your hands to yourself-Many people picking people up or hugging people or tackling people in hallways.
-Keep relationships outside of rehearsal-Its becoming a problem backstage with focus!!!
-Bohdi Keep holding that Hi hooooooooo as long as you can-it's a GREAT moment
-Autumn-Great job making/helping Parker in Big Bright Beautiful World Reprise line drop as an ACTING MOMENT-GREAT JOB! SO impressed with you!!!
-Shrek headband showing!!! -WE need to fix this
-Kaitlyn blind mouse missing for Make a move????!!!
-Parker lines Bright Beautiful reprise (Run song before show)
-Hannah and Joey see me for Gingy bit with legs
-Pied Piper (Addison) say line louder and clearer
-Farquaad (Joey) enunciation with lines-careful of sloppy diction
-We wait on tracks for Finale after solo’s- weird pause
-Cady-Don't show back of sign
-Parker don’t take shield and sword up steps to castle
-Better on Finale cast with facials
-Noah-you had a black rubber band at end of show and played with it last two songs-Make sure to leave that offstage

Thursday night notes

Cast-

You had a great show again Thursday night but the energy was a little less than opening night.
Grade: B

-Backstage was a train wreck as no-one switched mics with Amberlyn and caused many problems.
-Quinton had to go search for those that switched mics and was not available for scene changes which made scene changes very difficult.

-Everyone smile during the songs-some of you are not smiling at all (In Finale)

GREAT SHOW!! This show gets better and better each night!  Thank you for your hard work and focus - keep it up!

BBBW:

Great way to open the show - good job!

Imanol - much better on your projection - keep it up!

SOML:

Avery - thank you for always starting this number off strong!

Be careful not to stomp loudly - it covers up solos.  Soloists - remember to project.

Duloc #1:

Noah - remember to sing 

Need bigger smiles - this number needs to always be high energy

Duloc #2:

Turn faces out towards audience and SMILE while singing

Run "up" chords at the end before the show tomorrow

I Know It's Today:

Peyton - you were a PRO when there was a delay in the music - way to get back on track and keep your cool

Ellie - rushed tempo on "He'll propose on one knee and the prenup will be binding" 

Great job on it's me Fiona (Yay, Ellie!!) - good listening!  The last note was much better!

Forever:

Good job performing with energy and attitude - keep building this number!

Makayla - great LOOOOVE-AH at the end - it got a good reaction from the audience!

Parker - Take your helmet with you when you exit

Morning Person:

Peter Pan/Ugly Duckling - close the curtain after pop-outs

Great energy in this number!

I Think I Got You Beat:

Parker - try some bigger reactions to what Fiona is telling you

Autumn - good job with physical on the low burp

Make a Move:

Trace - you do a great job leading this number - keep it up!

Autumn - enjoy the S'nothers after you try it

Parker - good job going to the door of the cabin to eavesdrop

Freak Flag:

Atlantis - try not to focus so much on Baby Bear during your solo to help you sing out and project.  You've got this!!

Trace - good job waiting for music to be over to say line after Farquaad's demise
