#1 BBBW
- Imanol - project your voice when you are singing; I can't always hear you. Make your volume match Brailyn's.
- Storytellers - we need to work on the timing of your lines with the music on the CD.
- Parker - Good job - be careful to not strain into the upper register. I will work with you soon to help with that.
#3 Story of My Life
-Pinocchio - good job with the timing at the beginning!
- 3 Pigs - yay! You nailed the harmony we worked on! Keep it up!
- Mama Bear - please review 1st entrance "Mama's in the mud..." I know you'll get it!
- Cast - good job on harmony! Keep reviewing your parts on the big chords on "Always kicked around and treated like a freak!"

Tuesday Rehearsal
CAST-
Amazing rehearsal today!!!! WOW!!! so proud of your hard work these last 6 days. You blew through pages 1-51 today! We will continue the run and run 51-72 tomorrow to start rehearsal and then block pages 73-109 and run through problem spot songs but we should finish blocking of the show tomorrow except choreographed numbers by Jennifer. Everyone is called.
NOTES FROM PAGES 1-51
Noah-try not to run to fast over to Storytellers and then back to your Ogre parents.
Storytellers- MORE Excitement with telling of the story.
Parker-Work with Quinton to clean up your Scottish accent for Shrek.
Mya-Go slow on your line as your pig with the accent-hard to understand you
Fairytale characters-Your being evicted from our swamp-Need to see that in your entrance and how do you feel during Story of my Life?????
Trace-Better voice with Donkey-Stay consistent-Play your punctuation-take those tiny beats between punctuation or you are doing run on sentences.
Parker-be lost more after Story of My life-See me-You need to work more on ACTION-REACTION in scenes with Donkey and other characters.

Cast-Think of each SONG in the musical as a musical by itself with a beginning-middle-end. What is the song saying as far as the story of the musical-What are you conveying????

Kyra-Stick with Mama Bear at rehearsal to help you not one of the three pigs. Atlantis is in charge of helping you because you two are in all your scenes together with Papa Bear.
Knights/Guards-We need to work on laugh bit and freeze bit before Shrek's "Boo"
Owen-Be more official as Captain of the Guard-too much Owen. Work physical

Thursday Rehearsal
Parents/Cast-
Everyone is called tomorrow. Our cast is TERRIFIC and TALENTED but parents please remind your child to please act professionally at rehearsal. We had lots of focus problems and we would hate to recast actors due to behavior during rehearsal. We also have to keep our hands to our self which is a rehearsal policy including hugging and picking people up. I would suggest if they have a best friend they are sitting next to during rehearsal that they sit away from that person to focus on rehearsal so everyone can have a GREAT experience at rehearsals.
Don't forget to turn in t-shirt money, bio/information, and consent waiver forms.
Don't forget your snacks tomorrow!!!
Some notes for today:
-Parker-I am going to have you start working on your accent with Quinton tomorrow-It's good but a little muddy/You also need to work on Shrek's physical.
-Parker when you come out lost-LOOK lost so play that up more before you say your first line.
-Fairy tale creatures you should not be happy when the Captain of the Guard marches you on-they are taking your land-your forest!!! TRY to REACT to everything that happens onstage. Also many of you need to work on your fairytale character physical-they do not move like you do-so think how your fairy tale creature would walk and stand.
-Trace-Play your punctuation. You have great energy as Donkey but your speaking too fast-ignoring your punctuation with your dialogue. Your lines are a big run on sentence.
-Noah-keep going over your blocking-You did great today
-Knights/Guards-We will work on the freezes after BOO by Shrek tomorrow. Work on your screams and high stepping running off and on.
-Papa and Mama Shrek work on Ogre physical
-Mama Bear need character voice.
-Papa Bear you need to react more!!!
