Great job cast! We had a great rehearsal and a great week! Please get off book for your songs and lines!!! No books on stage Wednesday next week. Please study the Disney movie or YOUTUBE video's of past productions:

Everyone is CALLED on Monday as we run the entire show!!! 1pm

What characters need to work on:

King Triton-Continue to work on your PHYSICAL (Walk-posture) for king Triton and go over all the (!) and Underline stress lines-You need to play theses lines with emphasis and strength in your voice.

Ariel's-Maddy and Sophie-You both need to work on having EXPRESSION (Strong Expressions in ALL scenes with Ariel) You can never drop it during the show-We need to know how Ariel feels about each scene and her feelings with relationships to Mer-Sisters-Father-Sebastian-Flounder-Prince Eric-Grimsby-Carlotta-Ursula-Flotsam/Jetsam-Mer-Folk!!!

Sophie-Work on your VOLUME with Part of your World
Sophie\/Maddie-Go over all you're Ahhhhhhhh's in the show.

Flounder: Aimey/Hannah-VOLUME!!! Work on She's in LOVE-EXPRESSION during song-GESTURES-SELL HOW YOU FEEL about Ariel in Love!-taking time away from you.

Prince Eric-Keep finding levels to your lines so you don't sound like you are YELLING your lines. Work on facial expressions

Sebastian- Work on accent and delivering your lines with more volume-don't trail your lines off.

Ursula-BIGGER-you need to get more color and variety in your line delivery-More evil and much more punch on your (!) and underline lines that need to be stressed. Work on your physical with Ursula-Command the stage!

Flotsam/Jetsam-Work on moving like an eel-HOLD S'ssssssssssssssssssssssss out longer-Get a creepy character voice.

Sea Horse (Triton's servant)-Work on your characters movement-swim like a sea horse

Grimsby-LOUDER!! Watch movie and try to add variety to line delivering so you don't sound so monotone.-Find character with him-Have fun!!!

Carlotta-Find a character with her? What does she think of Eric? Grimsby? Ariel? Is she fun-? Strict? Stern? Make choices for her

Mer-Sisters-REACTION on how you feel about Ariel. Your Father? Flounder? Pick a character and each be different.

Scuttle-Make sure you know how you FEEL about EACH character you share the stage with-I want to see that feeling/emotion when you perform :)

Sea-Gulls-Find your character-each SEA Gull is different! Give them personality!!!

Sea-Creatures-Go over your group numbers-like Under the SEA-Kiss the Girls and others

Chef Louis-GO over songs COOK-Watch Mermaid movie or YouTube video's for ideas-Work on your Chef Louis song-YOU MUST BE BIGGER AS CHEF LOUIS and MEANER :) The audience should be afraid of this guy :)

CAST-We ALL still need to work on off stage etiquette (behavior). Please do not talk loud or horseplay when someone is onstage performing. If you can't focus at rehearsal we will have to remove you from the show. The same can be said onstage. If you cannot behave when on stage or sell the song with expression than Laura and I will have no choice but to remove you from the number.

Remember: The older kids like Ethan-Atlantis-Mya and others need to be the examples offstage while others are performing so help us out :)
